Our Blessed Mother

Dear Salesian Family,

The month of October is dedicated to our Lady of the Rosary, and on Friday, October 7th Salesian celebrated this beautiful feast. Let us recall the promises Our Blessed Lady made regarding world peace, family stability, and universal well-being, as we pray the most Holy Rosary.

Once again, Our Blessed Mother will visit our school families throughout the month of October. Each class has a small traveling shrine complete with statue of Our Lady, rosary beads, and directions for praying the rosary. Every day the class shrines are sent home to a family whose name is picked at random. When receiving your class shrine, we invite you to welcome Our Lady’s visit with joy, and give her statue a place of honor in your home. We also invite you to gather as a family and pray the rosary, perhaps even inviting friends to join. May Mary’s spiritual presence accompany her shrine to your home, and may she bring with her a shower of wonderful blessings for you and your dear ones!
