Happy Veterans Day! I hope you all enjoyed your three days weekend.
Thank you again to all of you that drove or chaperoned on our field trip to the Tech Museum. Despite the traffic we arrived there and back on time:)
Today students will be writing one paragraph explaining at least one thing they learned at the tech museum.
Everyone turned in their cereal book reports! They all look fantastic! Students will be sharing them with their classmates this Thursday.
Grades are in and conferences have been scheduled. Please find your scheduled conference time attached to the homework sheet.
COnferences are scheduled for next week Wednesday, November 20-Friday, November 22, from 12:00 until 5:00. Don’t forget there is NO AFTERCARE and DISMISSAL is at 12:00 NOON.
New Accelerated Reading goals have been set and will be shared with you at the conferences. You will also be informed at the conference whether your child will receive honors. Awards Assembly will be on Monday, November 25, at 7:50:)

11/14: Student Council will be hosting a BAKE SALE at lunch. All proceeds go toward Second Harvest Food Bank!
11/15: Turkey Trot Fundraiser! Charlie Clima top money earner for the school!!!
11/18: Free Dress for $1.00 and Root Beer Float Sale at Lunch! $1.00 per float!!! All Proceeds go towards Second Harvest Food Bank.
11/18: Bring in your recyclables also! This will help us reach our goal of $1,000 for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
11/25: Last day to bring in Food and Money for the Food Drive.
I would like to see each child fill the bag they were given to them with food and fill our barrel to the brim.
All students should bring in at least $5.00 to help us reach our goal of $1000.
THANKSGIVING BREAK 11/27-12/2! SCHOOL RESUMES ON 12/2! THANKSGIVING MASS ON 11/26 AND THEN NOON DISMISSAL!BREAK BEGINS!

Homework for the Week of November 11, 2019
Spelling: Focus this week is words with short O. Packets are due on Friday, November 15. Spelling assessment is also on Friday, November 15. Please review your pretest and study any words you have misspelled and be ready for the assessment on Friday 11/15.
Math: We continue with Multiplication and Division. We will be going through the next units rather quickly because we have learned the concepts of multiplying and dividing in our last unit. The only differences will be our focus. We start with multiples of 6, then 7, then 8, then 9. GREAT XTRA MATH website It’s FREE AND IT IS A GREAT WAY TO PRACTICE AND MASTER YOUR FACTS.
Tuesday 11/12: Workbook 3A/Exercise 3/pp. 115-116! Due tomorrow.
Wednesday 11/13: Workbook 3A/Exercise 4/pp. 118! Due tomorrow.
Thursday 11/14: Workbook 3A/Exercise 5/pp.120-121. Due tomorrow.
Friday there will be a quiz on Multiples of 6 and a review quiz on Multiples of 2,3,4,5,and 10.

Reading: Find a book to read and be ready to show me the book by Friday, November 15. Remember you have a new goal to make for Accelerated Reading. You should be reading for 20 minutes per night.
