Good morning parents,

I apologize for the late send-out of our weekly email. Unfortunately, I had to handle a family emergency yesterday. Thank you for your understanding! We have a few updates for this week:

As you may have seen in our constant contact email, this Thursday, February 11th, we have a half-day, so dismissal is at noon. Additionally, we will be having our Valentine's Day celebration during class on this day- students are welcome to bring Valentines as well as candy/treats to accompany them as long as there are enough for everyone and the treats are store-bought and individually wrapped. I will be sending a handout of student names in the students' folders today. Also, this Friday, February 12th, and next Monday, February 15th we will not have school in recognition of President's Day. Enjoy the long weekend!

Student Council is currently organizing a special COVID-friendly Mardi Gras drive-through celebration for students and their families next Tuesday, February 16th. This will take place during morning carpool, so please be patient as that takes place. I will be sending home a flyer with more information today.

Finally, because I was not at school yesterday, I was unable to send home the homework outline for the week. Those will be going home today, and you may disregard Monday's assignments. Thank you!
