Good morning parents,

Although last week was (technically) our first week back on campus, it did not feel that way between the days off and leaving early! I have a few updates for this week:

This week we will be resuming our normal lesson and homework schedule, so please continue to turn in assignments through Seesaw. Remember that these assignments go towards your student's grade, so it is important that they keep up with the work.

As a class, we decided our New Year's resolution would be to complete more handwriting assignments in class. Each student has a monthly journal in which they will respond to a given writing prompt- I am going to ask that, if they were unable to complete the assignment during class time, they take it home and complete it. Please make sure these come back the following school day. Writing is a very important aspect of first-grade, and we want our kinder students to be prepared early.

We will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week next week with some fun activities student council and 7th grade has planned. Please look for more details later this week.

As a reminder, our scheduled PE day when we are on campus is Monday morning. Please have your student come to shcool in their PE uniform for the day.
