Weekly Update 2/3/2020

Good morning parents!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We have a few updates for this week:

Catholic Schools week was a huge success! The kids absolutely loved being able to dress up for the various days, participate in field day organized by Coach Avila, cheer their classmates on in musical chairs and trivia as well as the teachers in the kickball game, and end the week with a special mass celebrating St. Don Bosco. What a wonderful way to celebrate the blessing we have to attend a Catholic School.

Returning to our normal school schedule this week, we will have homework so please look out for that. Today we are celebrating the 100th day of school with a small class party. Mrs. Garcia graciously spent time over the weekend making us cupcakes and I will be sending the kids home with a small gift bag containing 100 pennies each. We have plenty of crafts that the kids will be taking home to show you tonight.

This Friday, February 7th, we will be hosting our annual Sneak Peek day for prospective TK/Kinder students. They will be joining us for a couple hours (9-11) spending time in our classroom with me, the art room with Mrs. Garcia, and the playground with Coach. Our students will be acting as role models/ tour guides so we ask that they come to school in full dress uniform even though this is usually a PE day. We are so excited to show new students all of the wonderful things Salesian has to offer. Thank you for your support!

If you have any questions, please reach out to me. Have a great week!
