Have a Great Summer!
/To our parents moving on-
It is truly amazing how quickly time flies! I am immensely proud of how hard these students have worked, played, and grown this last year. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to guide them in their first year of school.
I hope this summer brings you a time to relax, pray and grow closer to your family. Although we have seen another school year come and go, it is important to keep the children engaged in learning. I have subscribed our class to an interactive learning website that allows them to continue the basics we learned in school through computer games and lessons. If you are interested in having your student participate, please send me an email and I will give you the login information.
Additionally, please remember that there is a first grade summer packet for your child to complete before the start of the school year. It is posted on Mrs. Settles’ First Grade page. Again, have a wonderful summer and I will see you in fall!
To our new parents joining us for kindergarten this fall-
I would like to extend a very big welcome to you from our Salesian family!! It is my personal mission to give your child the most nurturing, comfortable environment in order to encourage a love and passion for learning. As we move into the new school year, I hope you take this time to enjoy the special moments with your family. I look forward to the journey we will take together as these students start on their educational paths.
We do have a kindergarten summer packet I would like the students to complete and turn in the first week of school- this will be posted on the website. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email. I will be on campus throughout the summer vacation, if you would like to arrange a face-to-face meet.
Sending a child to kindergarten is both pride-inducing and nerve-racking. I am here to support you the best I can as you make this transition. In the mean time, I hope you have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing everyone in fall!
