Welcome!
/I cannot express how excited I am to start this new school year. This is my third year here at Salesian, and I truly believe I could not have found a better community to educate children. To start the school year, I would like to share some information with you about myself, as well as gather information about all of you, your families, and (most importantly) your child.
I graduated UCSC with a sociology degree in 2016, and I am currently working on acquiring my Masters degree in Education. My goal for this class is to create a safe, nurturing environment where your child feels comfortable enough to make learning the priority, and to extend their academic abilities. In each child is an excitement to learn, and I will work very hard to help them discover it.
There are always opportunities to volunteer in our classroom to help the children develop their skills, should you be interested. If you would like to come in to help monitor small group activity, read a book, or provide general support please do not hesitate to email me, so we can arrange a time. We would love parents to be active in their child’s learning experience, to help influence the excitement we are looking for!
This Monday (August 12th) and Tuesday (August 13th) are both half-days, so dismissal will be at noon. Please send your child with a snack as we will have a short break.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Thank you so much, and I look forward to starting this exciting new chapter!
