Good morning parents!

I have a few updates for you this week:

I would like to thank everyone of you for being so flexible and understanding with the cancellation of our field trip to Casa de Fruta yesterday. I have been in contact with Casa de Fruta, and we are working towards rescheduling our field trip- unfortunately, Casa de Fruta does not continue their pumpkin junction events after Halloween. Because we had a special case, however, they are going to attempt to make arrangements for us to go next Monday. As of right now, this is not set in stone. I will keep you updated as I continue to communicate with Casa de Fruta.

Picture day makeups are this Wednesday morning, October 30th. If your student is going to participate in makeups please make sure they bring their old pictures in with them. Also, because it is a Wednesday, please send your student with their PE uniform in a bag to change into after retaking their pictures.

This Thursday, October 31st, is our Halloween carnival! Salesian will be transformed by the 8th grade students to bring us a day full of carnival games, face painting, and candy. Students are permitted to wear Halloween-themed free dress this day (no costumes, pajamas, short-shorts, or spaghetti straps). This is also a half-day, so dismissal is at noon. It is important to note that this is not an open carpool day. That means students should still be picked up by carpool, and there should be no extra cars coming to campus. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

This Friday, November 1st, we will be having our All Saints Day mass in chapel at 11:00 am. Because this takes place during our scheduled PE time, students do not need to bring their PE uniform. Please send your child in full dress uniform for mass.

Please continue to send in donations of new toys for our Box of Joy! We are still in need of supplies to fill our boxes.

Finally, because we have a week full of fun, there is no homework assigned for this week! Enjoy the extra time to spend with your family.
