Fall Is Here!
/Hello TK Families,
The Season of Autumn/Fall is here and I can't believe we are now in the month of October. I love this time of year! The air gets cooler and the leaves on the trees change color and fall. However, the season is about much more than the change in the leaves. It actually presents several opportunities for learning. Fall is always exciting in my classroom! Students are excited and interested in all the changes that are occurring outside (not to mention that Halloween, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day is just around the corner).
This Week:
Letter G
Review numbers 1-5
Fall words and activities
Our Lady of the Rosary
Name Recognition/Writing Practice & Activities
"Our 5 Senses" Curriculum
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Mini book and Story Sequencing
And much more....
***These last couple weeks our science curriculum has been all about "What Plants and Animals Need to Live". In addition, the kids have been learning about the parts of an apple and its life cycle. Starting this week, we will focus on the life cycle of a pumpkin and its parts.
