Dear My Third Grade Class of ‘21- ‘22,
I hope you’re enjoying your summer already! Have you been to the beach, eaten watermelon, or had a playdate? Have you started a new book or practiced your multiplication facts? If reading or math isn’t on your mind, that’s understandable after just finishing the school year.
Please check on the Salesian website for your Summer Work. It’s most important that you read everyday to yourself and sometimes out loud to your parents or other family members.
Do you have a library card for the public library system? If not, please try and get one. Libraries are great places to spend some of your free time this summer!
Your 4th grade teacher will be really impressed if you have the multiplication facts memorized to 10. If you know those, go on and learn the 11’s and 12’s.
Please check the Supplies List on the 4th grade website. Everything you need to be ready for your first day is listed there.
I loved being your teacher! I look forward to seeing you next year! For those of you moving from Salesian, I’ll miss you and wish you all the best at your new school!
I hope to see many of you at the Luau on Saturday, August 13. Have fun this summer!
Love,
Mrs. Peet
