Homework for the Week of February 7 - February 11

Tues:

Spelling: Carefully write the words 5x each.

Math: Study with a parent multiplication facts 6s, 7s, 8s, and 9s. Try to memorize (remember) the facts.

Reading Fluency Practice: (Where Did That Dollar Bill Come From?) - Ask a parent to time you for a minute. See how far you can read. If you make a mistake, correct yourself and keep reading. Mark where you read to and write the day of the week there. Practice three nights this week and see if you can read a little farther each time.

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log.

Wed:

Spelling: Study your words.

Reading Fluency Practice for one minute (Where Did That Dollar Bill Come From?). 

Read Madame C.J. Walker: Self-Made Millionaire, p. 316-325 in your textbook, with a parent and discuss the biography. Write it on your Reading Log. Finish reading on Thursday night if you don’t finish it today. 

Thurs:

Spelling: Review the list. Ask a parent to quiz you on your spelling words. Study some more if needed. Spelling Test Tomorrow.
