Homework for the Week of February 22 - February 25

Tuesday:

Spelling: Carefully write the words 5x each.

Math: Workbook p. 134 (show your multiplication in your math notebook).

Reading Fluency Practice: (A New Bill) - Ask a parent to time you for a minute. See how far you can read. If you make a mistake, correct yourself and keep reading. Mark where you read to and write the day of the week there. Practice three nights this week and see if you can read a little farther each time.

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log.

Wednesday:

Spelling: Study your words.

Math: Workbook p. 141 and p. 143  (p. 142 is optional. It’s good division practice.)

Reading Fluency Practice for one minute (A New Bill). 

Read and discuss with a parent, Uncle Jed’s Barbershop in your textbook. Write it on your Reading Log. Finish reading on Thursday night if you don’t finish it today. 

Thursday:

Spelling: Review the list. Ask a parent to quiz you on your spelling words. Study some more if needed. Spelling Test Tomorrow. 

Math: Workbook p. 144 and p. 145

Reading Fluency Practice for one minute (A New Bill). Reading Fluency Page Due Tomorrow.

Reading Test Tomorrow on Uncle Jed’s Barbershop in your textbook. Is your Test Study Guide finished? Due Tomorrow.   

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log. Reading Log Due Tomorrow.
