Hello Families,
I hope you had a fun-filled Labor Day weekend!
I’m happy to announce that the call for room parent(s) was a success! Sara Triacca and Adrienne Race volunteered to share the responsibilities. A big thank you to both of them for volunteering to support our class in such an important way!
Thank you to everyone who attended Back to School Night. I’ll send a recap of my Back to School Night presentation along with last week’s work in Wednesday’s homework folder.
Some students will have 7 spelling words to learn this week. I’ll note that on their homework sheet so you’re aware. I encourage students who are learning all of the words to also learn the Challenge Words but I’ll leave that up to your family to decide.
You may have seen in Friday’s Salesian Snapshot that swimming has been cancelled for TK-3rd. It’s unfortunate as I know the students were looking forward to it. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to chaperone in the pool.
Please invite grandparents to next Monday’s (8/13) Grandparents Day. See the Salesian Snapshot for details.
There’s always a lot of excitement when a book fair opens on campus! Beginning tomorrow until next Tuesday (8/14), Salesian will host a book fair.
