I’m looking forward to having the class in the school building on Tuesday! Besides assessing reading and math, I’m planning for some fun learning while the students are in the classroom.

Flash cards - Each student will receive packs of flash cards for addition and subtraction. They may keep the flash cards until they know all of the facts! Please work with your child for 5-10 minutes each day to memorize the facts. It’s very important that the facts are memorized now as they’ll be using those basic facts for years to come.
AR – I’m happy that students are taking AR quizzes. When they’re on campus on Tuesday, I will help them find books from our classroom library to take home. Please return any books from class that they have read. I will send a nonfiction book with everyone to broaden their reading horizons!
