We did it! Week One is behind us and these kids are picking up fast! You should see them all unpacking their own lunches, water bottles and back packs! They can find their hooks, desks and mostly keep track of their layers of clothes! We have been getting to assembly on time and sitting for Sister Carmen’s morning message and prayers and pledges and songs and…and…and…

They are getting up and down the hill for playground and a true victory of ZERO bathroom accidents in Week One! There were some tears but also great new friends! I am super proud of them (and you) for getting us all off on this adventure. We had a great showing at our Back To School Luau and our Room Moms have already been in to help sort our papers, supplies and provide Art Centers on Friday! There’s always something to do around here.

I hope you have heard about our very exciting fish tank (Warm Fresh Water Tropical) and Pete the Cat! We started working on writing from our big screen to our white boards and on patterns. We talked some about God’s Creation and The Holy Family. The kids had a chance to tour our school and have spent a little time in our chapel as well as “trying” to nap. Thank you, thank you for packing lots of healthy food options and water bottles! It really is a very long day! We have talked lots about our class rules (ask them about Mr. Potato Head) and good manners (Mrs. Lenz’s Mary Poppins Voice).
