Welcome Friends! It’s me! Mrs. Lenz!

I am here to officially invite you and yours to “Dive Into Kinder” with me! I hope you all enjoy the ocean as much as I do! What an amazing creation that we get to live near and enjoy as our class theme! Are you ready to start our adventure together? These first two weeks we will spend time getting to know each other as well as our school and class manners. We expect 20 students in our “school” of fish here in K and the wonderful help of Miss Croghan!

A few reminders for the first week...

Please pack a healthy snack and water bottle each and every day regardless of lunch plan, dismissal time or personal schedule.
All parents may come for a quick drop-off at the classroom before assembly on our 1st day of school.
Our first two days of school we will have noon dismissal.
We will begin our Siesta/Nap on Wed. Please bring in your nap pads from last year OR a beach towel and single small pillow with a pillowcase to stuff your towel into. We are still waiting for the new nap pads that the office ordered. Please NO stuffies or sleeping bags or extra bedding.
On full days please pack... water, snacks, lunch and Siesta bedding. Bedding will come home on Friday for washing and return the following Monday.
Mrs. Jones had assigned Summer Learning. Please turn that in on Wednesday.
We will have a weekly homework folder that will come home on Mondays and return on Fridays...but not just yet. We will also have a working folder that you may see come home with a note or completed work.
Please prepare a basic change of clothes for your child that will stay here in the classroom for any kind of clothing accidents: bathroom, food, art, sickness or any other Kinder Surprise! Please pack in a small labeled plastic bag at least a change of pants, undies and socks. We need these ASAP!

My school email is the best way to reach me between 7:30 to 3:30. I will try my very best to check that before assembly and after car pool. A good old fashioned handwritten note to the office or my desktop is still very acceptable and appreciated. I will do my very best to keep you updated here on our monthly themes and studies.
