This Sunday, January 12th from 2:00-4:00, we will be hosting our annual Open House. This is a great opportunity to display to new families all of the wonderful things Salesian has to offer.

This year we would like to emphasize that our Open House is not only for new families- it is also an opportunity for our current families to come and see what their child is working on in class.

To make this year more dynamic, the staff has decided to incorporate interactive activities for you and your child to participate in. Each classroom will have demonstrations for their parents, in order to give you hands-on insight into our classroom lessons.

Our classroom will be offering a handwriting workshop. Students who attend will begin by engaging in a handwriting and Language Arts lesson. From there, with your help, they will apply their skills to create a very special Valentine’s Day card for Jesus. My goal with this activity is that you have the opportunity to observe the strategies we use in Kindergarten to build our reading and writing skills, as well as have the chance to work with your child in our classroom to create something special.
