Weekly Update 1/28/2019
/Good afternoon parents!!
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for mass and open house this last Sunday. It was very heartening to see such a wonderful group of people advocating for our amazing school.
Unfortunately, I was out last Friday due to sickness. Because of this, I was not able to correct homework or send home a handout with the dress-up days for Catholic Schools week. I have made sure to input homework today, and that flyer is in the students’ folders. I will also attach the list as a separate post. Thank you for your understanding.
This Wednesday, January 30th we have a SPA meeting. That night we will also be holding the science fair in the cafeteria. TK and Kinder have spent the whole day today working on a very fun science project which will be displayed at the fair if you are interested in seeing it.
This Thursday, January 31st we will have our Feast of Don Bosco liturgy at 11:00 am in the chapel. If you are available, we would love for you to join us as we celebrate the man who inspired our wonderful school.
This Saturday, February 2nd is our 40th anniversary celebration! We will begin the day with a special mass at noon in the chapel, followed by a meal and festivities. Please join us!
Finally, I would like to give some of you a heads-up regarding canteen cards being sent home in folders. The students that participated in the Reindeer Run and met the specifications have received a canteen card which they may redeem at canteen. It does, however, need to be signed by a parent prior to being used. Please initial their card and send it back with them tomorrow.
Thank you all so much for the continued support and prayers! I am so blessed to have such a loving group of students. Have a great week!
