Week of April 19-23:
/Religion: We are already in the 3rd Sunday of Easter. The Risen Lord meets us on the Road to our Emmaus in the ordinary experiences of our lives. We have our hopes and dreams. The story promises us that Jesus will come to us in unfamiliar guises to support and strengthen us. Emmaus moments come to us when we meet the Risen Lord on our life's journey through rough times. Jesus is our spiritual Food ad drink.
In class we are going to study different prayers the 4th graders are supposed to know by the end of 4th grade. This week we will study the I Believe: God our Father and all his qualities. Jesus leads us to God.
Reading: We will be doing 3 Fables. In this selection students will learn some valuable lessons about Money. A milkmaid learns her valuable, not to count his chickens before they are hatched. A rooster proves something that has great value to one person may be worthless to another. A miser realizes that money has no value if it is not used. The lessons are helpful as students develop understanding of money and its worth.
Students will research in class Folktales from different countries.

Grammar: We will study use of Commas in a Series and Friendly and Business letters.
