This week's lesson: "Erandi's Braids." The day before Erandi's birthday, an announcement is made that the hair buyers have come to the village to buy hair from the women. Erandi's mother mentions mentions that they need money to buy a new fishing net because the old one has too many holes. On Erandi's birthday, her mother takes her to a shop to pick out a present. After they leave the shop, Erandi's mother tells Erandi they are going to the barber shop. Erandi loves her hair and worries that her mother is planning on selling it to pay for the fishing net.
