Dear Fourth Grade Parents,
I pray you enjoy your summer vacation. I look forward to seeing all of you next year. Please click on the summer homework and supply list for fourth grade, so that you are prepared for the new school year of 2024-2025! Remember God gives us 168 hours in a week and asks us for only one on Sunday. Go to Mass every Sunday and visit Him.

Week of October 5th - 9th

October 04, 2020/ Sr. Lena Pinto

Religion: Our new lesson this week is Jesus Our Redeemer. Jesus has send us the Holy Spirit to guide his believers on the road He Himself traveled from Death to New Life. Through His Resurrection Jesus redeemed us and won justification for us. We sinners are reconciled with God.

Reading: our new lesson is: "A Covered Wagon Girl." This story follows the travels of one girl westward with her family on the trail to California. Her diary format allow the students to read a firsthand account of a very important part of U.S. History.

Read AR Book for 25 minutes every night.

Writing: In class, students will write a Personal Narrative: Highlight of a Memorable Event.

Vocabulary: We are still working on Unit 4. The FBI Magazine Article. Students will be tested on Vocabulary Words this Friday and Dictation of the same words.

Grammar: We will continue to work on Nouns, Singular/Plural Nouns, Irregular Plural Nouns, and Possessive Nouns.

P.E.: Every Thursday from 2:00 - 2:50 PM.
