Religion: students will learn about the People of God. Jesus wants us to continue his ministry by sharing His Good News. Jesus wants everyone to be part of his Community - the Church . We become members of the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Students will be asked to share any items of the Sacraments they have received.

Reading: Our new lesson: "In and around Los Angeles." Students will learn that the city of Los Angeles has many places to visit and sites to see. Its rich culture and impressive history make it one of the most interest cities in the country. The selection takes students on a tour of Los Angeles, visiting Griffin Park, Hollywood, the Korean Bell of Friendship, the Getty Center, and the San Fernando Mission.

Writing: Revise Historical Fiction done last week.

Vocabulary: Students continue to read and study Unit 5: "Chemistry in Action." Friday: Vocabulary Test and Dictation of Vocabulary Words.

Grammar: Students will study Action Verbs, Present, Past, and Future Tenses.
