Greetings Families,

Beginning tomorrow, your child needs to wear their P.E. uniform to school on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Soon, I’ll send you a questionnaire for you to please complete about your child.

This week’s homework is listed below. I always try to post the week’s homework and a note to you on Sunday on the Salesian website. I’ll give your child a copy of the homework to keep in their red homework folder. At the end of each day, I’ll review that night’s homework with the class. I’ll do my best to always have everyone take their folder and assignments home. Homework needs to be brought back to class the following day unless otherwise directed. 

I really enjoyed getting to know the class last week! I’m looking forward to the week ahead as we move into our academic program.

Homework for August 23-27

Mon:

  • Read your spelling words to a parent.

  • Math: Extra Practice worksheet  p. 5-6

  • Read to yourself or to a parent for 20 minutes and fill out your Daily Reading Log.

Tues:

  • Write half of the spelling words 5 times each.

  • Math: Extra Practice worksheet  p. 7-8

  • Read to yourself or to a parent for 20 minutes and fill out your Daily Reading Log.

Wed:

  • Write the other half of the spelling words 5 times each.

  • Math: Extra Practice worksheet  p. 9-10

  • Read to yourself or to a parent for 20 minutes and fill out your Daily Reading Log.

Thurs:

  • Study your spelling words and ask a parent to quiz you. Spelling Test on Friday.

  • Math: Review WB p. 7-13 with a parent. Check that the pages are complete. Test on Friday.

  • Read to yourself or to a parent for 20 minutes and fill out your Daily Reading Log.
