The beginning of school is an exciting time for students and teachers alike! I am excited to get to know your child and your family! For those of you new to Salesian, Welcome! My name is Mrs. Peet, and this is my second year at Salesian. I have taught second–sixth grade for many years in local public schools and overseas in American/international schools. I grew up in Aptos, and have always loved the beautiful countryside in the Corralitos area. I am thrilled to be teaching at Salesian!

I hope you can attend our New Family Orientation and Luau today. Teachers will all be on campus today so please stop by the classroom so we can meet one another, and I do have a fun task for your child to do!

The first two days of school are minimum days with carpool pick-up at 12:00pm. Students will need to bring their lunch beginning on Wednesday, 8/18. Please arrive before 7:45am so our class will be on time for Assembly at 7:50am.

School supplies will all be provided by the school.

Please label all uniform items with your child’s name. Identifying a “lost and found” item with a name on it will be super easy!

Also please have your child return their Summer Packet by Wednesday.

Items to bring all week:

· Backpack

· Filled water bottle (with their name on it)

· Full dress uniform

· Extra masks

· Any medications that your child might need to be brought to the office.

· Book from home to read, if there’s time, and before the grand opening of our classroom library.
