Hello Families,
During our second week of school, we moved into our academic program and had lessons in all of our subjects including art. I’m pleased to announce that PE classes with Coach Avila begin this week. Vocabulary/Spelling -
We will have a vocabulary/spelling test this Thursday. The test is to write a sentence with each vocabulary word and spell the vocabulary words correctly. The vocabulary words are on pages 8 and 9 in the Vocabulary Workshop. Throughout the week, please practice with your child spelling the vocabulary words and using each vocabulary word in a sentence.
Seesaw -
Students took their first photos on Seesaw of some of their assignments. Please review your child’s work and my feedback with your child. Some assignments need revisions or additions and then need to be resubmitted.
Reading List -
I hope the reading list for third grade (sent with last week’s Classroom News) will be helpful as your child looks for new books to read.
AR -
As soon as I have information about when students can begin taking AR tests, I’ll let you know.
Please let me know if you any questions or comments as we proceed through the week.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Peet
