Homework for the week of January 10, 2022

Mon:

Spelling: Read the spelling list to a parent. Decide if you’re going to study the Challenge Words this week. Write each word 5 times and check your spelling. 

Math: Workbook p. 90 - write 4.(b) and (c)

Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log.

Tues:

Grammar Workshop p. 51 – discuss ideas with a family member before sketching and writing.

Spelling: Study your words (look, say, cover, write)

Math: Workbook p. 93 – write each problem vertically.

Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log.

Wed:

Spelling: Write all the spelling words in bubble letters.

Writing: Read and discuss your New Year’s goals with your parent and have your parent sign their name on the back of the page.  

Math: Workbook p. 94

Read to a parent from your reading book, Crinkleroot’s Guide to Knowing Animal Habitats

Thurs:

Spelling: Test Tomorrow. Practice your words (look, say, cover, write) by yourself. Then take a practice spelling test with your parent. 

Math: Worksheet p. 55 

Reading Test Tomorrow on Crinkleroot’s Guide to Knowing Animal Habitats. Make sure your Test Study Guide is finished. Use it to prepare for the test.

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log. Reading Log Due Tomorrow.
