Homework for the week of November 15-19, 2021
Mon:
Spelling: Homophones -- Words that sound alike but are spelled different and have different meanings (Example: to, two, too).
Write your spelling words 5x each.
Math: Correct your math tests in your homework folder (Unit 1 and 2; math fluency assessment). Please ask a parent to check your Unit 1 and 2 test before returning it tomorrow. I’ll add a few points to your score for correctness.
Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and record on your Daily Reading Log.
Review all of your work from last week with a parent. If you have a manila envelope with work to correct or complete, please return it by Friday.
Tues:
Spelling: Write vowels in blue and consonants in red.
Math: Skip counting and multiplication sentences worksheets.
Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and record on your Daily Reading Log.
Wed:
Spelling: Write a sentence with each homophone. Please have a parent read your sentences. It’s important that you know the difference between the homophones (Example: piece/peace).
Math: Daily Fluency Practice and Mmm, Mmm, Mmm... Multiplication worksheets
Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and record on your Daily Reading Log.
Thurs:
Language Arts: Vocabulary Workshop Unit 6 Test Tomorrow.
Study p. 58-59: definitions, synonyms and antonyms.
Spelling Test Tomorrow: Take a practice test with a parent. It’s important that you know the difference between the homophones (for example: piece/peace).
Math: Daily Fluency Practice and Mmm, Mmm, Mmm...Multiplication worksheets
Other: Read for at least 20 minutes and record on your Daily Reading Log.
Reading Log is due tomorrow.
