Hello Families,

On Tuesday, I’ll send work home from last week. Please review the work with your child so together you can talk about their progress.  I’ll also send home any work that needs to be completed, corrected, or made up due to an absence or the work was not turned in. Please return the work in the manila envelope by Friday.

Papers, without names, are put on a bulletin board to be claimed and handed in again. If assignments are still on the board by Friday, the work is put in the recycle bin. I give lots of reminders to write their name first thing on their papers and to check the “no name” papers on the board.

I was encouraged on Friday when all of my sets of addition and subtraction flashcards were checked out for the weekend. I’m happy to check the flashcards out to anyone who will practice at home.  Please quiz your child for a few minutes each day to make sure they’re memorizing the basic addition and subtraction facts. Thank you for your support!
