Summer Vacation Has Come!
/Look at just what happened! Summer came upon us in a blink of an eye!
Please let me take this opportunity to thank all of you for a beautiful and fruitful school year with your children. They are a wonderful group of young people who have great potential and bright futures. As they enter the 7th grade - another year of great change - they will continue to grow and mature meeting the challenges of everyday with enthusiasm, optimism and an abundance of energy.
There are a few parents I would really like to thank in a special way for giving of themselves generously for the needs of the class. First, my thanks to Mrs. Findrick for being our Room Mother. You were always available and ready to help in incredible ways.
Thanks to our parents who chaperoned for us: Mr. Lenz, Mrs. Gassaway,
Mrs. Melenudo, Mrs. Swisher, Mrs. Findrick, Mrs. McGuire. Great trips and wonderful memories!
Thank you too to all of you for your kindness and remembrance at special times like Christmas, Easter, Teacher Appreciation, during Parent-Teacher Conference days and any other occasion that presented itself. Your thoughtfulness was and is most appreciated.
My prayer for you is that all of you and your loved ones have a restful, safe, and enjoyable summer.
Please remember to look at the bottom of this page and check out the Summer work assignments given for Math and Reading. It is very important for students to keep reading and practicing math over the long summer months. Skills get rusty when not used and we want the children to start off as strong as possible next August.
The 2023-2024 Supply list is also published below so things can be purchased at a time when prices are good
