History: Project
/Farming slideshow group project (Due: 11/9/2021) 40 points
As a group create a 7-10 slide presentation about the similarities and differences between present day farmers and the original farmers we learned about in World History. Your group must cover how farming has changed from then to now and also cover what has remained the same. Your group must cover the importance of water and the resources and methods used by farmers of the past and by farmers today. Use information from your textbook, the internet and the PBS movie ‘Food Machine’ to complete your presentation. Your group will present your presentation to the class and turn it in on Tuesday, November 9th. (This project is worth 40 points).
You must use at least 4 farming related images in your presentation (5 points)
Your group must cover how farming has changed from then to now and also cover what has remained the same (5 points).
Your group must cover the importance of water and the resources and methods used by farmers of the past and by the farmers of today (5 points).
You must use at least 7 vocabulary terms from chapters 2 and 3 in your textbook (10 points)
You must have a title slide with all the names of your group members (5 points)
You must have a resource slide at the end of your presentation that shows where your group got their information from (10 points)
