Chapter 7 Project Outline: Cultural Topic of India

You will use your own choice of media (slide show, google doc, poster board or digital poster/ page) to present a part of India’s culture to the class in the form of a 2-5 minute presentation. Here are a few things that you will need to include in your presentation:

Title for the presentation (what part of the culture did you choose for your presentation…) [5points]
How and when did your topic become part of India’s culture? [5points]
Who or what group of people created this part of India’s culture? [5points]
Why is this part of the culture important? [5points]
How did this part of the Indian culture influence or change other cultures outside of India? [5points]
Three important facts or details about your cultural topic of India. [5points]
Tell us why you chose this cultural topic of India. [5points]

This project is worth 35 points and will count as your chapter 7 test grade. The presentation is due Friday December 18th and class presentations will take place that same day during class.
