Here at Salesian our Kindergarten is alway very busy celebrating the seasons and liturgical calendar of the church. Every month we have at least one special day to celebrate our class and school community! The beginning of our year we do rest, but after Christmas we take a serious turn towards listening to classic children’s literature and working at reading each afternoon in reading groups.
We are blessed to have monthly art projects with our art instructors as well as seasonal crafts here in our room. The children also enjoy monthly trips to our Life Lab, three times a week PE and weekly Library.
Kindergartens are expected to work independently in their own desks, sit quietly for mass, manage their own supplies, use the bathroom independently, and open lunch boxes & clean up independently.
