Celebrations!

Rain! Fall! Book Fair! Grandparent’s Day!

There are so many things to celebrate this week! When the rain comes, we will spend our days in our room, sharing TK play space or under our covered porch playing games on tables. Kids in the past have come in rainboots but really it is our goal to stay dry. It is a good reminder that your child should have a clean change of clothes in their desk. At carpool time we will have the kids in the chapel hallway and shuttle them out under big umbrellas to you.

Fall is here! All things apples and pumpkins and farm theme are welcome! I will begin changing our decorations.

This week our cafeteria will be transformed into the Scholastic Book Fair! I will take the Kinders over to window shop and listen to stories. We will either make a Wish List or put one book on hold for each child. The last purchases can be made on Friday at Grandparent’s Day. There has also been information shared about ordering online. You may buy as little or as much as you like, but last year I found it helpful to have one book preselected for each student.

Grandparents Day is Friday! The Bishop will be at school for 10:00 mass. Guests do not have to be grandparents but can be another special person in your student’s life like parent, aunt/uncle, godparents.

Please bring a special lunch to share on our quad. Students may sign out with their teachers early on Friday. There is carpool and aftercare for all those that remain for the full day.

Best,

Mrs. Shannon Lenz
