Good morning parents!

I have a few updates for us this week:

This is a very exciting month for us, with a lot going on! As October is the month of the Rosary, we will be participating in a very special tradition we have here at Salesian of sending home one student with our classroom “Mary Box” throughout the month. This special box has a small statue of Mary inside, as well as Rosaries and a prayer booklet. Our hope is that you can gather as a family and take time to pray together. The student who is sent home with the Mary Box should return it to school the next day.

Next Monday, October 14th, is Columbus Day so there is no school. Please enjoy this day off and take time to relax and spend time together.

This week is our last week of swimming! Starting next week, we will resume a regular PE schedule.

Finally, Next Friday, October 18th, is our Seussical the Musical field trip! Please arrive at Aldridge Park at about 7:15 am to get situated so we can depart promptly at 7:30 am. Students should wear Spirit Shirts, jeans and PE shoes. They should also bring a snack/lunch to eat after the show. Please make sure your child has a booster seat to place in the car they are riding in. We estimate arriving back at Aldridge park at around 1:00 pm, so please plan to meet us back there at that time to pick up your child. If you cannot pick your child up until the end of the school day, arrangements will be made to bring them back up to campus. Students will spend the remaining school day with me until dismissal time.
