Religion: Our lesson this week: Jesus Sends the Spirit. We celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on the Church at Pentecost. After the disciples received the Holy Spirit, they continued Jesus' Ministry on Earth and the Church continues to guide us today.

Reading: read 25 minutes every night. An AR Test is a must this week. This week's lesson genre is a Historical Fiction. The characters Chin and his father have no idea that they are going to survive one of the most devastating natural disasters in history. On April 18, 1906, an Earthquake shakes the city of San Francisco, turning buildings into rubble and injuring thousands of people. Chin and his father struggles to survive a day of danger and chaos that will be remembered forever.

Writing: Students will chose a historical fiction book and write story elements. Due by Friday.

Vocabulary: We are doing Unit 5, a Magazine Article : Chemistry in Action. Pretest for the Vocabulary Words will be Friday.

Grammar: This week we will work on Lesson 11 Possessive Nouns, and Review Unit 2.
