Hi Families!

Writing to remind you that Night of the Arts is fast approaching! We’re so excited to share our Nursery Rhymes with the audience! Please continue practicing with your child at home this week + weekend.

In Math this week your child is beginning to learn time + clocks. It’s a fun and challenging unit, and if you would like to help your student at home you can practice counting 5’s with them. If you happen to have an analog clock at home, you can also help show them how to count on from the 5’s to get the precise minute on the clock. I’m excited to see them take on this big unit in math!

Grades are closing this Friday for progress reports. Please check this Friday/over the weekend and let me know if you have any concerns! All of your children are doing a great job in 1st Grade, and I’ve had such a wonderful time being their teacher so far.

Three more months to go for the school year, so let’s keep pushing them to read at home and try their best every day!
