Language Arts 5/7
/Definitions for your Resolution:
Write the Opening Statement as the Affirmative in a debate. You are opening with the resolution given to you (see list of resolutions on Classroom). Include a quote, question or statistic in your Opening Statement. Define any terms you feel are necessary so your audience will follow your argument and not your opponent’s argument. Anticipate what your opponent will argue so you are thinking ahead to oppose him/her.
Submit to Classroom (Language Arts); due Monday 5/11
