Homework for the Week of March 21 - 25

Monday:

Math: Practice test worksheet. Ask a parent to check your answers. Test on graphing and probability tomorrow.

Reading: Read Hiding the Sun to a parent (untimed).

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log.

Review your work in your Homework Folder with a parent.

Tuesday:

Math: Multiplication worksheet. Practice multiplication facts (6s - 9s) with a parent.   

Reading: Read Hiding the Sun to a parent for one minute. Have your parent mark where you read to and write the date.

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log. 

Practice your lines for your fairy tale.

Discuss with your parent what you would like to wear for your fairy tale for Night of the Arts, Wednesday, April 6, 7pm - 8pm. Please wear what you have at home - no need to spend money on a costume. Dressing for your part is optional.

Wednesday:

Math: Workbook p. 94 - 95.

Reading: Read Sun in your reading textbook to a parent. Summarize aloud what Sun is about (Why is the sun so important? and Why do we need the sun to survive?).

Read for at least 20 minutes and fill out your Reading Log. 

Thursday:

Math: Workbook p. 98 (pay attention to the patterns in #1)

Reading: Read Hiding the Sun to a parent for one minute. Have your parent mark where you read to and write the date.

Reading: Use your Test Study Guide to prepare for tomorrow’s test on Sun. If your Test Study Guide isn’t finished, make sure you finish it tonight.

Reading Log is due tomorrow.
