Week of March 8-12:
/Religion: We are in the 3rd Week of Lent which is a time to ask, "How can I repay the Lord for all the good he has done for me." (Psalm 116:12) Christ's saving death, which took place in history was completed and made perfect in His Resurrection. We looks at the new life Jesus offers us who commit ourselves to share in his Paschal Mystery.
We will continue to study the Stations of the Cross.
Reading: Story Cube Book Report Draft is due this week.
Read 25 minutes every night. An AR Test is a must by Friday.
Our lesson this week, "Pop's Bridge" is about building of the Golden Gate Bridge. Robert's dad is a sky walker, a brave climber who works with the iron cables on the bridge. Robert and his friend Charlie, whose dad is also working on the bridge as a painter, watch the bridge be g built. At first Robert thinks that his father has the most import job on the bridge, but after an accident, he realizes that all the workers play a significant role in the construction and risk their lives to do their jobs.
Vocabulary: Unit 13. We will continue our study on: "The United Nations."
On Friday we will have a test on the Vocabulary words, Meaning and Dictation.
Grammar: We will continue studying writing sentences correctly with correct Capitalizations, Punctuation, and Spelling.
