Dear Parents,

We have come to the end of the first three weeks of school. It is hard to believe how fast time goes by. It is wonderful to have your children back with us!

You have chosen to place your child in a Catholic school, a Salesian School; a place where there is the two-fold purpose of learning and believing. Thanks to the commitment of our Sisters and lay faculty and staff, we Salesian Sisters are able to continue the work of Don Bosco and Mary Mazzarello among our young people.

This year we have taken the initiative to focus and practice a virtue each month so as to allow God to transform us and help us grow to be signs of His love for others. Our virtue this month is "respect". Join us in working with your children to discover ways in which we can practice respect both at school and at home. Together with Mary, our mother and educator, we will take up the challenge to be signs of the foreseeing love of God among your children.

Sister Carmen, FMA
